Refund Policy
General
Due to the nature of the business, book returns are not permitted. If you purchased a Mystery Date with a Book and ended up receiving a duplicate book of a title you already own, a swap is allowed at the discretion of the business.

To be eligible, you must contact My Bookery ROC about the duplicate and request within 14 days of the purchase. Any items sent back to us without notice will not be accepted. If accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Damages and Issues
We are primarily a used bookshop that sells used books in various conditions. While we inspect all of our books to make sure that they are good condition or better, they are still used. Marker lines/dots, creases, bent pages, tears, water damage, folds, notes, dog-ear, highlights, and other signs may occur even with the Mystery Dates with a Book. If you have any concerns over the readability level or received the wrong item, please email the mybookeryroc@gmail.com so that we may investigate and, when applicable, rectify the situation.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding if the refund is approved or not. If approved for specific cases in which you receive a full or partial refund, you'll be refunded within 14 business days through the original payment method you used for the order. If you used a credit card or bank account, please allow for extra time for third parties to process and post the refund. If 20 business days have passed since the approval, please contact us at mybookeryroc@gmail.com.
Exchanges
Exchanges are permitted at the discretion of the company for equal or lesser value such as book swaps and store credit. If you are interested in selling your books for store credit in our Buy-Back Program, please visit our FAQ page to learn more information about that process.
Exemption
Custom orders such as custom-made or build your own book accessories and the Full-On Surprise Mystery Date with a Book are not accepted for returns. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your item.
